Choosing Your Big Game Shoulder Mount Form
| Now that you have hunted hard for your quality game and
quality taxidermist, it is time to choose the form that will best suit
your trophy, and best suit the location that you will be hanging or placing
your trophy.
Pay attention to the room available, what shows your trophy off the best, and what is different from your other mounts. You want each one to be special and unique because they are all individuals. Below are some of the most common of positions. Each
of these forms can be in a straight, right or left position, and may be
a straight on look or an off-shoulder look. Open-mouths and altered
forms have an additional cost.

| Pedestal forms are also available. Both Mackenzie
Taxidermy Products and Research
Mannikins produce an new form called the wall pedestal.
This unique form has the beauty of a pedestal with the full shoulder type
of view, and the beauty of a wall mount in that it does not take up much
space.
Pedestal forms are also available. If you are looking for something a little different, this is the way to go. You can add a tree that the deer is rubbing on, a snow scene or even a locked set scene. See my photo gallery for an example of this. I think you will really like this idea! For more information on rugs, half or life-size mounts, please contact me. |
